What is a portfolio page?
A portfolio is a page you would put on your Squarespace website design in order to show off all of your past client testimonials to your new prospects. Within the portfolio page, you can have multiple “sub-pages” for each individual testimonial/case study.
The possibilities are endless, so I really suggest you spark your creative mind to see how best you can build trust with your audience through this method.
How to Add a Portfolio to Your Squarespace Site
I will now take you step by step through, how you can add your portfolio page to your Squarespace Website Design.
Step 1: Create a new page (portfolio page).
First and foremost, you are going to want to navigate through your Squarespace Website Design’s portal.
You will now have a number of different options for templates for your portfolio’s design. I recommend going, clean and simple, but this is really up to you.
But remember, this isn’t set in stone, and you can always change things after. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me through WhatsApp.
Step 2: Edit Your Portfolio Page’s Design
You want this to look just as good as your home page. I constantly go on about this, as it is so important, any page can be your audience’s first impression of your business. So make it a good one!
Ensure all colors on your portfolio page are in line with your brands, adjust how many columns you wish to have, plus any spacing you may want to change.
This step will really make your Squarespace Website Design pop.
Step 3: Adding Projects to Your Squarespace Website Design
Now here is for the final step (and the most important one, lets add some projects to your Squarespace website design.
In the editor simply press “manage projects”, and we are going to clear all of the defaults. Select “add new project” (+), and choose a template.
Choose a snazzy image, and name your project, and you are good to go!
In your Squarespace Website Designs editor, I recommend again making it look just as good as your homepage. Ensure colors are all in line with your brand, invest in great images and if possible a video testimonial to really stand out and build that credibility.
